Anime and American comics have always inspired and fed off of each other.
Therefore, it's no surprise that many comics and anime have equivalent characters that are like crosscultural twins.
10. Batman : Roger Smith - Big O
Batman is a rich, tech savvy detective who fights against villainy in a lawless city.
Roger Smith is like his anime brother who also lives in a film noir type of show.
Plus both of them have butlers and sidekicks with girl names - Robin and Dorothy。
9. Superman : Saitama - One Punch Man
They're both considered to be one of the strongest heroes in their genre plus, they have capes, belts, and one piece suits!
Saitama might be more sarcastic and Clark more earnest, but at the core of it they both are the same - heroes to the core.

Both of these ladies are the first female heroes to hit the mainstream in their genre and stand as a symbol for all.
