Toyota’s Pikachu Car Displayed at Tokyo Toy Show 2012
The Tokyo Toy Show 2012 was held at the international exhibition center, Tokyo Big Site, in June. Next to the Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. booth, three mini cars were on display. Made by Toyopet, Toyota’s name for their car dealerships, these Pokemon cars are almost too cute to subject to the harsh conditions of the road.
The very center car commemorates the most recent Pokemon movie, Pokemon the Movie: Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice, which hit Japanese theaters this summer.
Next to the Pokemon Movie car, was a yellow Pikachu car, complete with cute ears and tail.
The third Pokemon car was of Mijyumaru (Oshawott in English), a sea otter pokemon.
I wonder if Toyota also made a pokeball big enough to catch them all…
