Sailor Moon gashapon hang out on your books and drinking glasses
Bandai is getting cutesy with its new Sailor Moon gashapon toys, offering miniature Sailor Senshi that perch or lean happily on the rims of glasses, books, and other desktop items.
The toys are already stocked in capsule figure vending machines around Japan, and are selling for 300 yen (about US$2.96) each.
Here they are in action, in case you want to see what they’ll look like atop your favorite beverage.
Naturally, Tuxedo Mask refuses to be left out of the fun, and has a gashapon series of his own where he hangs onto glasses, holds up smartphones, and even dangles precariously off headphone cords and other wires.
The Tuxedo Mask toys have been in vending machines since March, and sell for 200 yen (about US$1.98) each.
